Job Responsibilities

  1. Formulate the base’s procurement strategy, annual procurement plan and budget plan, formulate procurement strategies according to production needs and inventory status, and ensure the timeliness and economy of material supply.
  2. Be responsible for the development, evaluation, management and maintenance of local suppliers, establish a supplier resource database, optimize the supplier structure, and improve the quality of supplier services and cooperation stability.
  3. Be responsible for procurement cost control, reduce procurement costs through inquiry, price comparison, bidding and other methods, analyze the factors affecting procurement cost changes, and put forward cost optimization schemes.
  4. Be responsible for procurement quality control, formulate procurement quality standards, connect with quality departments to carry out supplier quality audits and procurement material inspections, and ensure that procurement materials meet quality requirements.
  5. Coordinate procurement contract management, be responsible for the negotiation, signing, execution and filing of procurement contracts, standardize contract processes, and prevent contract risks.
  6. Establish a procurement management system, optimize procurement work processes and management systems, promote the digitalization and standardization of procurement, and improve procurement efficiency.
  7. Monitor the progress of procurement implementation, track the delivery of procurement orders, handle abnormal procurement matters (such as delays, quality problems, etc.), and ensure the timely supply of materials.
  8. Establish a procurement team, cultivate local procurement talents, and improve the team’s professional ability, negotiation ability and risk prevention ability.

Job Requirements

  1. Local African nationality, 35-50 years old, bachelor’s degree or above, preferred majors include Procurement Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Business Administration, etc.
  2. More than 8 years of procurement management experience in manufacturing enterprises, including more than 5 years of experience in the same-level procurement management position, with local African procurement resources preferred.
  3. Familiar with the local African procurement market, supply chain system, supplier resources and related laws and regulations, with rich local procurement experience.
  4. Possess excellent negotiation ability, cost control ability, supplier management ability and risk prevention ability, familiar with procurement processes and procurement tools.
  5. Good Chinese and English communication, expression and negotiation ability, able to skillfully connect internal and external procurement-related work.
  6. Integrity, strong sense of responsibility, good professional quality and pressure resistance, no bad procurement record.
