Job Responsibilities
- Be responsible for establishing and maintaining good cooperative relations with local governments (industry and commerce, taxation, environmental protection, labor and other departments), industry associations, community organizations, etc., and promote policy communication and matter coordination.
- Track and interpret local policies and regulations and industry trends, provide policy references for the base’s business decisions, and assist the base in responding to the impact of policy changes.
- Be responsible for the base’s brand image building and promotion work, plan and implement local brand activities, and enhance the base’s visibility and reputation locally.
- Coordinate the base’s social responsibility work, organize public welfare projects, community cooperation and other activities, fulfill corporate social responsibility, and narrow the distance with the local community.
- Handle the base’s public crisis events, formulate crisis response plans, coordinate and communicate in a timely manner, and reduce the impact of crises on the base’s reputation and operation.
- Establish a public affairs team, cultivate local public affairs talents, and establish and improve public affairs work processes and management systems.
- Coordinate the relationship between the base and the media, be responsible for media connection, interview reception and information release, and guide positive public opinion.
- Cooperate with other departments of the base, provide public affairs support, and ensure the smooth development of production and business activities.
Job Requirements
- Local African nationality, 35-50 years old, bachelor’s degree or above, preferred majors include Public Administration, International Relations, Marketing, Communication, etc.
- More than 8 years of experience in public affairs, government relations or brand management, including more than 5 years of experience in the same-level position, with experience in public affairs management of multinational enterprises or large-scale enterprises preferred.
- Familiar with the local African political environment, policies and regulations, social culture and media ecology, with rich local government resources and network.
- Possess excellent communication and coordination ability, negotiation ability, crisis handling ability and event planning ability.
- Good Chinese and English expression, writing and public relations copywriting ability, able to skillfully connect internal and external communication work.
- Good image and temperament, strong affinity, integrity, strong sense of responsibility, good professional quality and pressure resistance.
